Cookies are small files placed on your device. We also use similar technologies such as browser local storage. Together they help the site run, remember your preferences, measure usage, and support advertising.

This policy applies to this website and its features, including the calculators, account pages, and embedded advertising.

Categories We Use

• Strictly necessary: Your consent choices, login session, and saved preferences. These are required for the site to work and do not need consent.
• Analytics (optional): Aggregate usage and quality metrics via Google Analytics. Only placed if you consent.
• Advertising (optional): Frequency capping, measurement, and (only if you consent) personalization via Google AdSense and IAB TCF partners.

Cookies and Storage We Use

• FCCDCF (Google Funding Choices): Stores your consent choices under the IAB TCF framework. Your choices are kept for up to 13 months, the maximum allowed by the TCF rules, after which the banner asks again.
• _ga and _ga_* (Google Analytics): Distinguish visitors for aggregate statistics. Cookie lifetime up to 2 years; the underlying analytics data is deleted after at most 14 months. Only placed with your consent.
• __gads, __gpi and partner cookies (Google AdSense): Ad delivery, frequency capping, and measurement; personalization only with your consent. Lifetime up to 13 months, following Google and IAB partner policies.
• ic_settings_v1 (local storage): Your currency and theme preference. Stays on your device until you clear your browser data. Never shared with third parties.
• sb-*-auth-token (local storage): Your Supabase login session, only if you sign in. Removed when you sign out.
• ic_auth_return_to_v1 and ic_pending_favorite_v1 (local storage): Short-lived helpers that return you to the right page after login and keep a favorite you were saving (kept at most 5 minutes).

Legal Basis

Strictly necessary cookies and storage rely on the ePrivacy exemption for technically required functionality (Article 129 of the Belgian Electronic Communications Act); no consent is needed for them. Analytics and advertising cookies are only placed with your prior consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), collected through the consent banner.

How Long Your Consent Is Valid

Consent is managed by the Google consent banner under the IAB TCF framework: your choices are stored for up to 13 months, after which the banner automatically asks again. You can change or withdraw your consent earlier at any time via the Cookie settings link.

Managing Your Choices

Adjust your choices at any time via the consent window (the Cookie settings link in the footer) or via your browser settings, where you can also delete existing cookies. Refusing analytics and advertising cookies does not limit your use of the calculators.

Third Parties

Google (AdSense, Funding Choices, Analytics) and other IAB TCF partners may set cookies according to the choices you make in the consent banner. The full partner list is shown inside the consent window.

Do Not Track

Browsers may offer a Do Not Track signal. We currently do not respond to DNT signals because there is no common standard; use the consent banner to control tracking on this site.
