Who built this

My name is Gianni Van Schoor, a software engineer based in Belgium. I've been investing my own money since 2020, and building Investment Calculator grew directly out of that experience: I couldn't find a free, reliable calculator that combined accurate financial math with clear educational content, so I built the tools I wished existed. The site launched in 2025 and now offers more than 20 free calculators and guides.

Editorial approach

• All calculator formulas are based on standard financial mathematics, using the same methods as textbooks and professional tools.
• External data (inflation rates, index returns, metal prices, crypto prices) is sourced from public datasets and refreshed regularly.
• Content is written to be factual and educational. It does not constitute financial advice.
• Pages are reviewed and updated whenever underlying data or methodology changes.
